On Friday, November 8th, our class became part of a brand new tradition. The students of John Oliver walked down to the cemetery in a solemn manner to pay respects to the dead soldiers. Us Leadership students guided them through the vast field. I was stationed at the Armenian Genocide Monument near the admin building, gesturing the students toward the structure. It was a large metallic replica of a fingerprint accompanied with the memoir engraved in stone.

I had a good time. There were no hiccups and I think the students were respectful and mindful to not step on the graves.
